Carrie

She is a slave on the Weylin plantation. Carrie is Sarah’s daughter and the last child Sarah has left (as the others have been sold). Carrie is unable to hear and speak but finds other methods to affirm her skills and force in her own life. Carrie finally marries Nigel and has three sons.
