Definition: is a set of business principles and long-term objectives that serve as a basis for developing and establishing a company’s rules, regulations, and guidelines with all of them serving the purpose of determining in which direction the company plans to develop and grow. Alternatively, a policy framework may be created to address a single inefficient policy, guideline, or procedure and improve it via a carefully planned intervention performed by the management.
