Anna is the female protagonist of the whole plot. She is a married who is supposed to lead an honest family-oriented life. However, because of her tender character, she falls in love with Alexis Vronsky, and they have a child. Anna is a pretty woman who is obliged to become a real outcast. Although she begins a new secret family life, she doesn’t deny her son. Anna is a caring mother who is eager to be happy in marriage. She is frowned upon by the society because of her love affair. This moral pressure forces her to commit suicide at the end of the novel.
