County Paris is a young man of noble birth, a kinsman of Prince Verona Escalus, a close friend of the Capulets family. From the first scene with him, we learn that he asks Signor Capulet for the hands of his daughter, Juliet's young. And it seems not the first time, hoping to hear a positive response. Paris' affection and his wish to rapidly marry her became an insurmountable obstacle to the fair love of young heroes.
