She is the faithful and compliant servant of Desdemona. All the time, she must accompany her mistress. She is also the wife of the villain Iago. She isn’t the happiest woman and wife. Her man repeatedly humiliated and offended her publically. However, she does not even suspect her husband's intentions. She stole her master's handkerchief for her husband, unaware of the plot. Moreover, she does not see his dark side and true essence. Only before death does she see the duplicity and darkness of her husband. Notwithstanding that she gets a key role in the betrayal of Iago, she remains true to her mistress.
