Logan Killicks

Janie’s first husband. Nanny arranges Janie’s marriage to Logan because she values financial security and respectability over love. Logan pampers Janie for a year before he tries to make her help him with the farming work. Feeling used and unloved, Janie leaves him for Jody Starks. He gives Janie almost everything, and he loves her. He cares about Kanie and her life, and when he understands that she will leave him and go to another man, he feels very bad, upset and sad as he is unable to do something with that.
