Lepidus is one of the three members of the ruling triumvirate in the Roman Empire. Lepidus disappears when people begin serious conversations. Only when there is talk about animals in Egypt M. Aemilius Lepidus is interested. He sometimes gets drunk, and this shows his indifference to the ruling position. This character is the weakest because he does not show himself as a strong leader both personally and politically. He makes some desperate attempts to help Caesar and Antony find peace, but he does not succeed in this. That is why Lepidus is imprisoned by Caesar.
