This boy is Okonkwo’s son. He is very good, also sensitive and thoughtful. He likes helping people and animals. Sometimes he is somewhat lazy and clumsy. But who doesn’t have sins? Okonkwo is rude with this boy as well as he had a huge fear not to become like his father. When he sees how Ikemefuna dies and especially who did it, he understands and feels that something is broken forever. He liked him, they felt like real brothers. Later, he turned to another religion – Christianity, changing his birth religion. He does it because of desire to run away from the father. It makes Okonkwo furious.
