Pap

He is Huck's father. He is an ignorant, abusive, alcoholic, racist who beats his son and extorts whiskey money from him. He has no good qualities, and we don't feel sorry when we got the information about his death. This character is easy to comprehend; the only thing he wants is whiskey. That is all about Pap that we need to know. He’s that much addicted that even doesn’t recognize who good and bad is. When the new town judge tries to reform him, Pap is that much unreformable that the judge changes his mind about the ultimate good of human nature and agrees that in the world exist that kind of people who deserve a shotgun.
