Well, even without describing the character of the book we can understand who is this person or creature, or whatever it is. Satan once was one of God’s favorite angels. He was an angel until his pride gets in the way and he turned away from God. His character is a very dynamic as it changes during the text. In the beginning, he often speaks rationally and persuasively, but later after all events, we see the inconsistency and irrationality of his thoughts. Satan brings many of heaven’s angels with him and comes up as a king of hell and fallen angels. Satan is the first who made a sin being that much ungrateful to the God and betraying him.
