Sebastian

The character of Sebastian is a very amiable hero. He is handsome, young and of noble origin. It is noteworthy that at the beginning of the play Sebastian takes a passive position. He serves as a memory of the terrible shipwreck in which his sister Viola died. On his rescue, the audience will find out after he comes to Count Orsino. Like all handsome men, Sebastian is focused solely on his needs and desires. He has a loyal friend Antonio, who is offering him food and shelter during his disaster. Although Sebastian is able to control own feelings, the sadness about Viola makes him think about travel as a means to overcome bitterness. Nevertheless, even in this condition, the young man manages to fall in love with Olivia and prepare to marry her.
