The Fox meets with the Little Prince when he is admiring his Rose. They become friends during the time of communication. The Fox asks the boy to tame him, and at this time they begin the relationship between a teacher and a pupil. The Fox plays a significant role in the Prince’s personal development. He manages to explain to the Little Prince how vital the Rose is. The Fox feels terrible because of the Prince’s departure, but he behaves courteously showing an ideal behavior of a true friend. The Fox understands that the boy has to leave and stay with the Rose because we are responsible for whom we tamed.
