Amy Denver isn’t similar to others characters. She can be called a minor aspect of the book, but her role is significant. Amy has white skin, and she helps Sethe in the process of her escaping. Their fates are slightly different, and they have something in common. Amy’s mother has died, and Amy was forced to work in her place to serve out the time her mother was supposed to work. They are without freedom and have the desire to run away from their real condition. This fact helps Sethe to become closer with Amy and rely on her help.
