Biddy

As any story has fantastic characters, it has to have good ones too. Biddy was a typical country girl with a big and kind heart. She was one of Pep’s best friends when they start attending school. After Mrs. Joe is attacked and becomes an invalid, Biddy moves into Pip’s home to care for her. Throughout most of the novel, Biddy is showed to us as a total opposite to Estella. She is a plain, kind, moral, hard-working and sincere girl. Moreover, she better matches to Pip being of the same class.
