Dmitri Prokofich Razumikhin

Dmitry is a former student, Raskolnikov`s friend from the university. He is a healthy, funny, intelligent, sincere and direct person with a full Russian soul. He likes to talk the whole truth in a face. Razumikhin sticks by his friend, even when Raskolnikov's behavior is baffling or rude. When his friendship withstands even the recognition of Raskolnikov's guilt, it is a sign that the murderer can be forgiven. He tries to justify all allegations against his friend, explaining all his actions with uncomplicated illness. He also takes care of Raskolnikovs`mother and sister, falls in love with Dunya and afterward marries her.
