Donalbain is the younger son of the late King Duncan. After the murder of his father, the brothers realize that they too can be in hazard, since they are the inheritors. Despite the fact that they are direct inheritors, they distinguish that they will not get power so simply. Malcolm asks his younger brother to quit Scotland quickly. However, they realized that if they will be at the diverse places it will be much safely for them. The brother told Donalbain that he must follow his path for safety. Eventually, Donalbain travels to Ireland, never returning to the fight against the sinister Macbeth.
