George is a man with analytical thinking; he is witty and clever. George travels with his old friend Lennie who has a mental disease. Both of them are dreaming of finding an idyllic farm where they feel free. Although George is sometimes angry at Lennie, he is a devoted and caring friend. George understands that Lennie is helpless alone, and he is responsible for this safety. However, Lennie gives his mentor lots of positive emotions because he is the one who does not abandon their childish dream. His thoughts inspire George to tell lots of stories about their possible ideal future.
