Glumdalclitch is a nine-year-old daughter of a farmer. Her name can be interpreted as ‘nanny.’ She is kind and sweet Brobdingnagian. She takes care about little Gulliver, makes a bed for him in the cradle of her doll, sews little shirts for him, teaches their language and gives him a new name — Grildrig. The farmer takes her to the concert tour around the country. For ten weeks, they visit eighteen large cities and many small villages. The little girl is continuous to take care of small Gulliver. She is a smart, humane and kind personage.
