This character is Meursault's girlfriend. She works as a typist at Mersault’s office, exactly in that place they first met. She sees his changes, and that he even probably doesn’t love her, but nevertheless wants to marry him and have several nice kids. Meursault likes her for her beautiful shape of the body, her nice face, also because she is a kid in heart and laughs when he tells anecdotes. She’s the one person who makes him happy. He was waiting for her in prison for a long time, but after she never appeared, he stops even writing to her.
