Wow, this old lady looks like really creepy. Also, she is wealthy and very eccentric old woman. She lives in a manor called Satis House near Pip’s village. She is manic and often seems to be insane. She likes moving around her house in a wedding dress; she likes keeping a decaying feast on her table, and surrounding herself everywhere with clocks stopped at twenty minutes to nine. This happened because her fiancé leaves for several minutes before the wedding, probably precisely at that time which she has all clocks stopped. What else can we see in this text? When Pip's high expectations are ruined, and he becomes a better man, Miss Havisham's expectations are destroyed, and she becomes an immensely wealthy and grim lady.
