Remember Jabe has the only close relatives who took her after parents’ death? Mr.Reed was a brother of Jane’s father and loved Jane very much; he always cared about poor girl more than about his own. Once he got sick and died; his wife Mrs. Reed was the next one to take care of Jane. Truly saying, she hated Jane, always forced her to work hard, mortified Jane’s feelings and didn’t care about the girl. At the age of ten Mrs.Reed sends Jane to the school and blow upon Jane to a director that much, that he immediately represents this girl in bad sight in the school. So, you can imagine that Jane’s life at school wasn’t a savior escape from the house at all.
