Ofglen

Ofglen is one more female character who is another Handmaid. The readers don't know a lot about this woman because she wasn't with the narrator at the Centre. The only information included is that Ofglen is a bit plump, and she has brown eyes. She walks as a "trained pig," but that is only the narrator's assumption.

Closer to the end of the book, another woman with the same name appears. The name itself loses its meaning because the narrator doesn't know the real names of those Housemaids. These Ofglens are the opposite of what the protagonist doesn't want to become.
