She is a beautiful woman of Odysseus and mother of Telemachus. Everyone knows Penelope as faithful woman who is talented seamstress. Reading the poem, we can realize that her personage is in total sorrow and sadness as she is waiting for the husband that went to Troy and never returned. Homer depicts her as personality who fights with her inner fears; she is afraid that Odysseus can betray her. Nevertheless, when he returned home, a woman doesn’t show her loyalty and temper. She is one of the main characters as the readers can take Penelope for a model.
