Raymond has a nice reputation in the city. As well as Meursault he lives in the same building. He makes friends with him because the last is capable of listening and giving advice. Exactly after his advice, Raymond get back to his cheating girlfriend. Later a little, no, a very bid problem appear. Once, Raymond involves Meursault in his own conflict with the Arab. And later the awful thing happens – Meursault ends up shooting. He also testifies for Meursault but ends up making Meursault look like his associate. As a friend he is betrayal, and in some way also unreliable.
