When this character appears for the one time we immediately comprehend that he’s the one we wouldn’t like. The narrator describes him saying that his main sport, the only thing he likes most of all in his life is ridiculing others, making them feel miserable. He is the person who dares Don Quixote to go to the tournaments in Zaragoza and to venture his life of knighthood. But from that point, the book wants to change our attitude to Sanson. In the second part, he was the main person who wanted cure Don Quixote of his terrible affliction.
