She is the wife of the Brobdingnagian King. She buys little Gulliver and therefore saves his life. The Queen represents Gulliver to the King. The court makes for him a small house, sew new clothes. He always dines with the queen, and on Wednesdays with the king himself. The Queen's midget envies the fame of Gulliver and dips him into a cup of cream. Giant flies and wasps are also a danger to the main hero. The Queen takes Gulliver with her on trips around the country. The kingdom of Brobdingnag has the appearance of a peninsula, surrounded on three sides by the ocean, and on the fourth — by high mountains. She orders the carpenter to make a boat for Gulliver and a long basin so that he can row.
