This character is briefly introduced in two separate occasions in the book. We don’t know much information about the woman, but we definitely can claim that she was kind, loyal and generous. These traits are strongly revealed in her devotion to Robinson Crusoe, as she took care of his property for long thirty-five years when he was journeying and gave him everything back when he returned home.
The widow, like Friday and the Portuguese captain, remind us how kind and trustworthy people can be, whether they are Europeans, Americans or savages.
