The youngest son in Victor’s family, William was the favorite child whose tragic death caused everyone a lot of pain. Strangled by the monster in the forest, William became a blunt tool of revenge to his creator who left him alone in a hostile world. This was the first moment when Victor distinctively felt that he had created a monster and realized that his actions would have consequences he couldn’t cope with.
