Linda is the mother of John. She belonged to the upper class of society. She was judged by society for committing a severe crime. Linda gave birth to John in a natural way, although everyone was born in the way of chemical processes. She was humiliated and intended to escape. She overcomes that disgusting feeling and trusts her maternal instincts. Linda was a good mother. She taught him how to read and write. She was addicted to soma, and it spoiled her life. Linda did not manage to overcome all her addictions, sexual, drug, etc. She ended up sadly, and dystopia existed in her soul.
