O'Brien

He is a person full of contradictions who tries to change the system of Party. O’Brien is antagonist and member of the Inner Party. Despite the strange appearance, he is an intelligent and persistent person who tries to find an approach to different people. We can state that he is a man of contrasts. According to the plot, O’Brien leads Winston’s actions and invokes him to organize an underground movement against the Party. He occupies one of the dominant positions in the novel. O’Brien consider Winston and Julia his soul mates as all his actions are around these main two characters.
