Caterpillar seems to be one of the most mysterious inhabitants (as it is possible in Wonderland). His figure is wrapped around with a smoke like a cloud. The caterpillar is the exact opposite of an eternally fussy Rabbit or inquisitive Alice. He prefers not to hurry somewhere and talks slowly and quietly. Nevertheless, he teaches Alice how to use some helpful things in Wonderland, for example, a patty with the inscription "Eat me" or a flask with the label "Drink me". With him, it's not so simple, however, as with everyone in the Wonderland.
