He is a self-confident man who always proves his life position. As it turned out, he is a husband of Mrs. Parsons. He is a type of secondary personage in a novel. Nevertheless, Winston despises him as Parsons accepts everything that Party tells. He is devoted Party member who trusts in the bright future of the society. Most of the characters avoid communication with him because Parsons is in a world of his own. He was imprisoned in the Ministry of Love because of his daughter accusation. His place in the novel is not significant as he was as a flexible toy that can have different shapes.
